Dr. Salma Parvin, Professor in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), received her Ph.D. (in Mathematics) in 2012 and M.Phil. (in Mathematics) in 2005  from BUET. She has published 70 research papers in recognized and refereed journals/proceedings and 75 conference papers. She has attended many national and international conferences in home and abroad. She is member of many learned societies in Bangladesh.  She has been chosen CWM Ambassador for Bangladesh to promote international contacts between organizations for women and mathematics and to undertake other related activities.
